1テサロニケ5章23節

そして平和の神ご自身が、あなたがたを徹底的に聖別し、あなたがたの霊と魂と体とを守って、わたしたちの主イエス・キリストの来臨の時に、完全で責められるところのない者にしてくださいますように。

聖別の意味とは？

「神のみこころ」は「わたしたちの聖別」です。聖別されるとは「聖とされる」ことです。それは神へと分離され、俗ではないことです。また、聖別は「息子化すること」でもあります。

霊が守られるためには

  1. 喜び、祈り、感謝する
  2. 霊をあらゆる汚れと汚染から守る
  3. 神と人に対してとがめのない良心を保とうと自分自身を訓練する
  4. わたしたちの霊に注意を払い、思いを霊につけ、霊の中の安息を顧慮する

魂が守られるためには

  1. 思いが新しくされたキリストの思いとなる
  2. 感情がキリストの愛で触れられ浸透される
  3. 意志は復活したキリストで征服され注入される
  4. 全存在を持って主を愛する
  5. 主に対して徹底的な告白をする

体が守られるためには

  1. 体において神の栄光を現す
  2. 体においてキリストを大きく表現する
  3. 自分の魂・古い人に従って生活しない
  4. 体を罪深いものにささげず、義の奴隷としてささげる
  5. 体を打ち叩き、奴隷とならせ、聖なる目的を成就し、聖なる都となる

1 Thessalonians 5:23

And the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly, and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

To preserve our spirit in sanctification

  1. Rejoice, pray, and give thanks.
  2. Keep it from all defilement and contamination.
  3. Have a conscience without offense toward God and men.
  4. Take heed to our spirit, setting our mind on the spirit and caring for the rest in our spirit.

To preserve our soul in sanctification

  1. Our mind must be renewed to be the mind of Christ
  2. Our emotion must be touched and saturated with the love of Christ
  3. Our will must be subdued by and infused with the resurrected Christ
  4. Love the Lord with our whole being
  5. Make a thorough confession to the Lord

To preserve our body in sanctification

  1. Glorify God in our body
  2. Magnify Christ in our body
  3. Not live according to our soul
  4. Not present our body to anything that is sinful but instead present ourselves as slaves to righteousness and our member as weapons of righteousness.
  5. Buffet it and lead it as a slave to fulfill our holy purpose to become the holy city.
